We came about because of a restructing of land use at Camden Airport, a significant metropolitan airport located about 60km from Sydney. Significant pressures on land use at the airport resulted in potentially significant increases in rent for all glider operations at the airport. We were formed to assist in negotiating an agreed arrangement whereby a significant portion of otherwise under-utilised land was made available for exclusive use by gliding activities. We worked closely with Sydney Metropolitan Airports and together achieved an outcome which should ensure gliding activities are able to continue at Camden for the long term.
